• 6 x 1/2" outside diameter brass Welch plugs (12.7 mm)
• 1 x 1/4" outside diameter brass Welch plug (6.3 mm)
• 1 x 3/4" outside diameter brass Welch plug (19 mm)
• 4 x 1/4" NPT steel plugs

Purpose and benefits

These expansion plugs seal the casting core holes in the engine block, helping to prevent cracks caused by the pressure of frozen coolant. In regular operation, they help keep all vital fluids securely inside the engine, where they belong.
